It’s hard to know what’s the right move to make when you’re concerned about the economy, baffled by the stock market and worried that your investment plans are no longer valid. Our first speaker will give her insights into how she is guiding her clients now. Kristina Kuprina is President of Sequoia Wealth Advisors, which she founded to help others achieve Financial Consciousness -awareness and understanding of how financial decisions affect the rest of your life. Kristina will be updating her presentation right up to May 10.

  • TOPIC 2 - Dividend Investing: A Personal Journey Join us in a sharp departure from traditional investing to learn about investing for a steady income stream. Andy Prophet will walk through common tools and techniques to build and manage a portfolio. Since most AAII members are self-directed investors near or in retirement, learning how to set up a portfolio, minimizing risk and growing income can be critical to a comfortable retirement. This presentation is a personal journey in managing a dividend income portfolio and exploring guidelines for managing risk. ATTEND THIS MEETING TO LEARN:

  • SPEAKER’S BIOGRAPHY:
  • Andy Prophet is a longtime student of investing, a retiree and has been an AAII member for over 35 years. He has been on a journey to build a steady growing stream of dividend stocks. To help, he draws on his management experience in business and engineering to construct a plan. By sharing this personal endeavor, he hopes to educate our membership on how he uses dividends for retirement income. Prophet spent 45 years in the high-tech industry, first as a design engineer and later as a senior manager. His final position was as the executive director of a trade association. He holds an MBA and an advanced degree in electrical engineering.
